I start school next week which will now take more of my time aside from working full time while still being sick. You ask how am I going to balance this or survive for that matter? Well I have to do what needs to be done. So unfortunately, I will not be accepting any hosting applications until September due to all that is going on. Edit Post: June 26, 2010 at 12:01 am (pst) – For some strange reason, I lost a lot of e-mails with people applying over the past 3 weeks or so. So if you applied and if you want, go head and re apply for hosting. Please remember to fill out the application correctly or else I will over look it.

I am still in recovery mode but the pain is coming on and off now so I guess in a few more weeks, I’m hoping to be pain free. Again, thank you all your comments. They made me smile when I was really at my worse some days. But I am finally back to work for 4 hours and next week, I will be back to full hours. Honestly, I can’t wait.

Back to the hosting update. I deleted 6 sites for not updating. Which is not bad. I always send out an email before this is done so if your site is one of the ones that got deleted, there is nothing that can be done cause you were warned.

2 sites are back up for adoption which are: Sweet-Serenity.info and Dramatic-Soul.info. I was thinking of adding some more in this week but I’ll see.

I’m still working on a few projects in the background cause I need to do some serious updates to the site. Even though I was home some days I couldn’t sit in front of the PC all day to complete it. The terms and conditions to hosting needs to be updated, layout needs to be changed, tutorials and forum need to be finished. The list goes on and on.

I still owe a prizes from the giveaway and I’m sorry that it has taken so long but I haven’t forgot about it. If money is looking good in July, they will sent out.

I’m running a little behind in responding to applications due to still recovery so give me a few days more to get back to you.

So hosting will resume in about another week. I have to go through sites this week and clear out the ones that have not done any update past 3 months which I did send out an e-mail 2 weeks ago and a lot of people have not responded to. So that will free up some room on the server.

1. Go to your cpanel to choose the Backup Wizard and do a full back up.
2. Then Login to your WP Admin Page.
3. Go to Tools > Export (this is to get all your posts, comments, etc).
4. Go to Fantastico De Luxe in your Cpanel and delete your instillation of WordPress.
5. Make sure in your ftp that all WordPress files have been removed.

Once you have done that, then do the following to re install:

1. Login to your Cpanel.
2. Go to Backup Wizard to restore.
3. Then go to Fantastico De Luxe to re install WordPress.
4. Login to your WP Admin.
5. Go to Tools > Import.

Once you done all this, everything should be back to normal. Always make sure that you are upgrading WordPress when it calls for one. If you have any questions, just e-mail me and I’ll be glad to help.

However, this does not mean that I’m fully back to hosting at this time. I am still sick and trying to get better. I just don’t want to leave my members with unanswered questions. Thank you all for the comments!

So all applications, emails, giveaways are on hold for the time being. I hope to resume everything in a few weeks or so.

Then some company contacted me about buying the domain from them for like $100 which they wouldn’t of got from me. So I checked the whois again, and it was available. So now it’s mine finally after all these years! I knew that company was just trying to scam me. I wouldn’t of got it in the end. So now you can now access this site by .com and of course by .net as well.

On another note, I have already started giving out the prizes for the contest back in March, so if you have not received my e-mail and your one of the few people who won, you need to let me know.

As for my future projects, it was placed on hold due to the fact that I have been sick for almost 2 weeks and I was unable to do any computer work at that time. Specially not staring at the computer screen all day. Now that I’m feeling a little better, I can, but sadly, I have to go back to work. So I’m going to try this weekend.

Edit: May 12th 2010 at 7:43pm – Unfortunately everyone, I am still sick and I will be in the hospital tomorrow and maybe the next few days. I’m trying to answer as many e-mails as possible before I have to leave. So bare with me.

I feel sorry for the people who were hosted under RigRag. Unfortunately, things like this happen but really, I didn’t see this coming. Well if anyone is looking for a good free host that has been running strong for 6 years, well you’ve come to the right place if your tired of paying for your hosting. If you know anyone that needs it, please tell them about CBD Hosting as well.

However, I did have to order a new laptop which will be here in a few weeks (by April 12) *jumps up and down*. So I will have to set up accounts on my days off from work which are on Friday and Saturday till my new laptop is here. I am sorry for this but that PC’s at my job will not let me access my panel to set anything.

A few days ago, some of you might of noticed that CBD Hosting went missing for awhile. Well that is because of the previous host that I bought my domain from. They stated that I didn’t re new my domain which I believe is a load of crap and was going to charge $100 USD plus $9.95 USD for me to be able to keep it. Well I showed them the payment for my domain back in November of 09 and lets just say, everything is now how it should be. Only sites that were sub domained off of cbd-hosting.net were effected and should be up and functional.

I’m still dealing with some other issues with a few members whose domains were also on this previous host that I hosted with. Trying to come up with the best possible solution to bring them back without all the fees. So if you spot any broken links on the members page, don’t worry.
